This December 21st 2009 – January 3rd of 2010 both Native American and non-Native American people gather to celebrate and honor the American Indian culture. What better way to celebrate your vacation in Arizona is to witness this powerful once in a year Indian America New Years Powwow.

Several overwhelming powwow competitions will be held such as dancing,singing, drumming, authentic handmade arts & crafts, indian foods , teepee village,birds of prey all participated by over 60 tribal nations from Mexico to Canada. Competitions begin every 12 noon to dusk each day. Collectively the competitions are meant to overwhelm the visitors. Bring your lenses and drive your USA RV to Rillito Raceway Park, First av. & River Rd. Tucson, AZ Arizona, this event is free to public so bring your own shades and chairs. With your RV, you can also hire optional chairs and tables and back it up.
